Showing off my current project. :) Name:Isis Wrap Designed by: Kathleen Power Johnson From the most recent issue of Interweave Knits. Portion: The back, almost ready to bind off for the neck.
Close up! Look, I can actually make lace! I feel all smart and stuff! Although it is just me being able to follow a pattern...it's still a big thing to be able to do something new.
From farther away.....
Early hematoma picture.
Scary Hematoma a few hours after the accident, right before we went to the hospital
Close up of beginning of Ty's Hematoma.
The back of the poor car..... note the hole in the bumper and the blue from the truck's license plate
Close up of bumper with the truck's license plate on it!
Inside/ outside the trunk
Blue from the front where we hit the person in front of us's license plate.....not so impressive since it was the second impact.
Barely touched front! Yay!
This is the side bumper. Note where it is tied back into place with a plastic thingy. (thingy being the scientific term
Note the missing bolt on the Passenger seat
Notice the spring on the floor and the plastic bolted down on the bottom of the Driver's Seat
How my seat looked (close up of Passenger seatbelt)
How the seat is supposed to look (close up of seatbelt)
Seats, notice on the passender seat, there is a spring by the seatbelt....notice on the driver's seat, the spring is still where it should be along the floor.
Car Accident pictures - Because I have to put them somewhere!

This is a Wonderfully Awesome book that my friend Dani bought for me at an Antique store in Petaluma (CA). The book is Copyrighted 1942 and by Alice Carroll "Formerly Designer at Alice Maynard and Consutant on the American Red Cross Knitting Manual" This book has just about EVERYTHING. And being the 40's enthusiast that I am, this book is perfect for me. Every time I flip through it I find patterns that I want to make -mostly gloves, stockings, and sweaters. But there are cute hats, afghans, and men's sweaters. See below for a couple patterns that I thought illustrated the feel of the book.
Awesome old-fashioned pattern - this is just one of many! There are tons of 'em - from whole 40's style women's dresses and suits, to cabled stockings and gloves -to army and navy sweaters, men's swim trunks, etc!
