Over at Casa de Kalendar, we decided to put in a victory gardent, reminiscent of WWII campaigns to conserve. See the pictures below for the miraculous transformation.

I know it's been a while since we've talked, but I miss you. I also just did a little gardening, but just in containers.
I was thinking of you recently because Dan and I are talking about moving back to Santa Cruz this fall, so I can get more academic work completed. Also, I've been dressing up for dance performances, and it made me think of you because... well, costumes, of course. I think I might try to knit myself some costume pieces for belly dancing—haven't found any patterns yet, but I could probably work something out.
